Advantages: Green flashing light

Disadvantages: Its tiny size..

Okay, this may not be the most exciting product to write about but hey, people need to know about these little and I mean really little things.

So I figured I needed a new memory stick for university in September, so I went on a little hunt down to my local PC World as I thought out of all places I'd find one... And yeah I did..!

So here goes with the boring specification bits;
4Gb worth of memory, which holds;
3000 photos
up to 1000 MP3s or 3 movies
Hi-Speed USB 2.0
Stylish metal casing with clear skin and cap
Bright green LED light when activated and storing
Compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Mac OS 9.1.x+, OS X v10.1.2+

Don't ask me what most of that means, I know how to use the technology not how it works..!

Oh yeah and the measurements are - 7.9mmx18.95mmx52.2mm (HxWxL)

I will admit I did buy this because it was cheap, there was nothing in the aesthetics that made me want to buy it but I am happy now I do have it.. It takes literally seconds to transfer files of a smaller size from the PC to the stick or to my laptop. Obviously larger files do take a bit longer but the little light in the USB stick will flash at you while the files are being transferred.

Obviously these little machines are lightweight and portable, although that is a little downside to this one. Unless you have t on a key ring or attached to your keys, it is losable..!

Also the colour is pale, well it is white.. and if you leave it on a white windowsill in your bedroom (yes, I did.) You might well lose it..! The rubber grip of the stick is quite nice to touch and a benefit it that you do know that you are holding it so probably won't drop it..!

The fact that the USB stick works across different systems is brilliant because not every computer has Vista and being able to swap documents through this onto different systems is a blessing. Simply just stick the 'stick' into your computer and the driver is recognised instantly or it was in my laptop, no guarantees it would in every computer. There is no disk included so I am guessing it should have the driver software installed in the actual portable machine itself..!

The big memory is also a nice bonus as I could put the whole contents of my iPod on this stick and still have space for a few files..! For the price it is a good value for money providing your not to bothered about having a little pale and uninterested memory stick. Though the rubber skin can be removed but that is not something I would advise unless you want to lose all your work on your stick as the stick would be even worse to find without.. Especially if you could be scrambling around in the dark for it.. Like all good students working dead into the night.....!

I got my stick for £14.99 out of pc world
But it's £10.99 on play.com, and since then I can't find it anywhere else..!

Summary: Brilliant value usb stick..!
