Sandisk Extreme III 1 GB SD Memory Card

I've had more memory cards (mainly SD) in the last couple of years than some people have had hot meals. I tend to either loose them (leaving one on a bus, one in a pub and more than a few that just seem to vanish into thin air) or more commonly they get damaged (I dropped one in a chest freezer and didn't find it till the next day, I've put one through the washing machine, and one even went up the hoover which manged somehow to break it open.) But even if I'm not responsible for their destruction, memory cards just seem to fail on me at an alarming rate. Normally my reviews are very long and detailed but here`s a Shorty for you (still very detailed though I hope). As a professional photographer I have used countless different memory cards of all shapes and sizes and if anything is going to let you down on a very hectic shoot its most likely to be your memory card not reacting with the camera fast enough. I found this 1GB Extreme very useful and I think that it is an excellent memory card because of the speed. I used this in my camera and was able to store loads of pictures on the Sandisk. I was very impressed with the speed with the transfer rate for sending pictures to my computer and the amount of time it takes to process the picture onto the card. I am able to view the pictures on my camera and can go through them very quickly due to the speed of the Extreme Sandisk. For a 1GB I would expect it to be quite slow because 1GB is very big but this card is too quick.
