This is a tiny little memory card that boasts a large storage capacity. These memory cards were designed by Sony for thier Sony Ericsson mobile phones, so that thier on board capacity can be increase and so that a user can store more audio and picture files on thier mobile phone.

The memory card is quite similar in sixe to its rival a mini SD card about 1cm by 1.5 cm long and is approx 2mm in thickness. The good thing about the memory card is its size, it is handy to easily place within your phone and the transfer speed between files and source is really quick. Although it was released to compete against the mini SD card, its sales tend to be lesser and Sony are thinking of dropping the M2 card altogther. You can store a lot on the 4GB capacicty.

The 4GB card roughly costs between 20 and 25 pounds so it is not exactly cheap. I would advise and buyer to consider how long they intend to keep thier Sony Ericsson phone before making a purchase of this memory card which is likely to become useless on future phones.
