==Price and Availability==
I bought the Transcend 32GB SDHC Memory Card when I was on holiday a couple of years ago. I'd taken more pictures than I thought I would on my camera and decided to just buy a new memory card instead of deleting some of the pictures. The choice was limited and I'd never heard of Transcend before but the card was reasonably priced so I decided it would do. This memory card currently sells for £13 on Amazon which is a very reasonable price when compared to other similar memory cards.
==Transcend 32GB SDHC Memory Card==
This card is only quite small at about 3cm by 2 cm; it's also very lightweight too. The card itself is blue in colour and the sticker bears the Transcend logo, it's a bit more colourful than my other memory cards and can be easily picked out when you're looking for it. The card has built in error correction code, which detects any transfer errors and corrects them to ensure that date isn't lost. There's also recovery software that this memory card allows you to put on your computer for free, the software searches for any files erased from this card and retrieves them which is a handy feature.
In use I find the card to be high quality, there's never any glitches when taking photo's and the card always seems to save images quickly. When shooting video the memory card runs smoothly and I've never had any problems. In use I've found this memory card no different to more expensive cards I've used, it has an up to 17MB/s write speed and I find this plenty quick enough. The read speed on this memory card is up to 20MB/s but I've found that this isn't the case. Even though the card isn't slow at transferring date onto my computer it isn't that quick either and I find it sometimes stalls. It's not a major issue it just means that transferring photographs takes a little longer than it does with my other memory cards.
I bought this card on a whim whilst on holiday and for the price I paid I've been really pleased with it. This transcend memory card is very reasonably priced compared to other cards and they do a good job, they're quick when taking photo's even if they are a little slow when transferring the images onto my computer. There are a couple of features on the card which are handy, especially as the card is so cheap. Overall, a good buy.
