Advantages: fast, value for money, vista readyboost compatible

The 2Gb SD card from Transcend should be your first choice, often looked at as inferior to kingston and other manufactures however the performance of the card is the same and by comparing the prices you get more for what you pay.
Fast transmission from card to pc and large capacity; with a 6 megapixel camera which is standard these days you can store around 600-700 pictures which is more than enough for a whole holiday.
You can also use the sd card for vista's readyboost function - simply insert the card in a slot (or card reader) and if you are not automatically promted/given choice what to do next, go to my computer and right click on the sd card icon. choose property and then navigate to the readyboost tab, where you can choose how much memory you want to make available to readyboost.
What is readyboost? It is a feature within windows vista which is meant to speed the system up a bit by giving it more memory cache. (ok lets not get too technical) basically it speeds up the operating system a bit.
Great card, great manufacturer, start considering transcend which is still cheap and buy this great sd card

Summary: Forget kingston or other manufaturers transcend is better!
