... often by using the lower setting - it has a 300w motor, but it chops things like carrots really evenly, without a slush at the bottom.
It has a nice design with a cute curvy bit where the motor is and the bowl bit is one of those rounded ones. It is a bit of a hassle getting the bowl back in after you've taken it out, which is a bit annoying. The blade is stainless steel and you can put the bowl in the dishwasher... Kenwood Concert Smoothie Blender SB256 1.5 L ... fruit gets stuck and occasionally this does shift it. The only problems I have come up with when using the smoothie maker is that firstly you have to make sure that the frozen fruit is not in big chunks otherwise these can get stuck and you will find yourself stopping the maker and having to constantly use the stirrer to try and get them chopped down. Also this appliance is not going to win any awards for quietness! In fact it really is noisy to the point it can even drown out my monsters noises and that is no mean feat! After you have finished you should in theory be able to use the nice tap thingy to pour out your smoothie into glasses but I don't seem to have maste... Energi SM1 Smoothie Maker ... are experiencing some lovely hot weather both yesterday and today (long may it continue) My daughter loves experimenting with the different fruit combinations and her favourite at the moment is Strawberry, Banana and Mango with a little Fresh Orange juice…this is also very refreshing! My son loves Raspberries with vanilla ice cream and ice cubes. The possibilities are endless with a smoothie maker…your only obstacle is your own imagination! You can also use fresh vegetables to make healthy drinks as well. It is a wonderful way of getting that 5 a day fruit and veg intake into both you and your family. Kenwood Compact Food Processor FP110 ... in the blender jug - otherwise the blades will stop working half way. ** What the Kenwood Can Do ** Well to start with it is great at shredding cheddar cheese, partially because Kenwood haven't been stingy with the power ratio of the speed - the machine is quite quick at shredding cheese compared to my larger, bulkier and dated Morphy Richards model. Like many food processor systems however, the last bit of cheese does tend to get stuck and ends up flying around the lid of the bowl instead of being shredded. All the more for me though!!
