If you thought you didn't need this in your kitchen well think again!

I was bought this for my birthday and to be honest it was out of politeness I said 'oh fantastic, I always wanted one of these' with the most sincere tone I could muster. Truthfully I was thinking brilliant more junk to clutter up my kitchen, boy was I wrong!

The first time I used this was to make a salad dressing home made mayonnaise based and I was thrilled. It was so quick and easy to clean afterwards. The protectors on the bottom to prevent your dish getting scratched also to my surprise helped create a mini vortex that meant no chasing odd bits around the edges that were not mixed in.

After my first attempt I tried it on a hot soup (against the manufacturers guidelines) and it worked a dream, the potatoes and leeks and onions were turned into the creamiest soup without adding cream!

The best part of this gadget is defiantly the cleaning just plunge the blade end in some warm soapy water blitz the water and in turn clean the blender. So simple compared to my previous stand alone blender. No more transferring hot liquids from pan to blender and possible boiling liquids exploding all over yourself or kitchen!

Now this device gets used at least twice a week from soups to gravies to whipping up some cream (I even made ice cream with it once) for a quick desert. It has enough power for all I have used it for and with its elegant sleek design and holder it is always on display in my kitchen ready for easy access.
