Advantages: good for basics and small amounts
Disadvantages: creates chunky bits, limited use
Having Purchased this recently some time ago (for about £20) i have to admit that i am finding it hard to have a reason to use this appliance. I have another of James Martins appliances, a blender which is brilliant, so i'd thought i'd buy another of his products similar. Don't get me wrong its a fine kitchen appliance and gets the job thats required done.
I used this to make some some fine bread crumbs for a fish i was going to coat with i found that it didn't necessary chop it fine enough. As well as making pastes for curries this is the same result it just doesn't quite dice it fine enough.
This is a somewhat limited tool that will sit around until you find some use for it if ever or you pass it on to someone who may find some novel use for it, maybe making tiny cups of soup :P sorry James your other blender is fantastic though.
The appliance is very realiable and i've had no problems washing in the dishwasher. It is quick and easy to put together and is ready for use in minutes. I think it is good value for money but if you already have a blender dont double up on similar products. This would be a very useful prodct for wanna-be cheifs and would also be useful for making up baby food.
It is quite compact so it is great for easy storage, although the downsdie is it only makes small quantities at a time.
This review sounds quite negative, althouhg the product is very good, its just a shame i previously bought a very similar product in the range.
Summary: good for begginers but not the best blender by james!

A good start here. Sentences would be good with full stop for starters lol. However that's not why I've rated this review SU. For buyers a bit more info would be good here such as:
Actual capacity
Noise levels
Speeds offered
UK Price/how much it cost you?
Cleaning it - any dishwasher safe parts?
Why you felt you needed to buy one?
Design and general durability
It isn't a blender however - it is a mini chopper so its supposed to mimic what the Kenwood one does on Delia Smith's cooking programs - chopping nuts, small food prep etc, the occassional blending of vegetables etc which some new parents find worthwhile for organic food for their babies. Adding info isn't compulsory but you could tidy up your review as well as amend that this isn't a full size blender. If you update your review or need help please message me.
