Advantages: Looks good
Disadvantages: Flimsy, cheap plastic, slow, not very good output
We bought this food processor mainly because of its really compact size and great styling. To switch between the food processor and blender/liquidiser you simple take off the food processing bowl and add the blender/liquidiser bowl. This does mean that for people who wish to do a lot of work with the blender and food processor at once, it may be difficult switching so regularly, but for occasional use for me it was great as it uses less room on the work surface. on the downside, it does mean we have to find a space for the spare bowl in the cupboard.
I loved the unique black and red colouring of the appliance. Although the red doesn't really match anything else in the kitchen, the black did and it still doesn't look out of place due to the red being kept to a minimum. From afar, this food processor looks good but up close you notice that it is actually made of pretty cheap flimsy plastic and I fear it cracking when moving it or its bowls around.
I also love how the food processor comes with quite a few blades for many different functions including slicing and whisking. There is a blade for everything you want to do in a kitchen!
The issues arise when you actually want to use the appliance. Those blades I just mentioned do not actually work too well, the slicing tool cuts everything really thick and although there have been occasions where this hasn't really mattered, it is usually better to do the slicing by hand because of how bad it is. The other blades work fairly well but it tends to take them a long time to do anything to the food. The blender takes a substantial time to blend anything and the whisk the same - I am unsure whether this is to do with them spinning too slowly or because they are poor quality blades. Either way, it is disappointing.
When in operation it does hold pretty firm thanks tot he rubberised base and it will not take a little walk across the counter which is helpful and I can therefore trust it to run for a bit (actually run for a very long time because of how slow it does anything) without trouble
Considering the point of the food processor is to do something to the food and aesthetics is only a secondary feature, this food processor is not very good and I would not recommend it to others.
Summary: If you are never going to use it and you just want to look at it, this is for you, otherwise avoid!
