The 99p Store: ... have three 99p stores located close to my home but my review is based on the main one i visit which is based in Weston Favell shopping centre in northamptonshire. This shop is brilliant for bargains like for instance they had a bogof offer on colgate zig zag toothbrushes so that was 99p for 2 toothbrushes. 	Hotel Chocolat ... our new mall opened in Plymouth, I was dying to take a walk around the new chocolate place, Hotel Chocolat. When the crowds had died down I went in and had a good look around. I fell in love with the place instantly and although I don t make a habit of buying form there, I do pick up the odd treat every now and again. The shop is filled from wall to wall with every kind of chocolate you can imagine with some old favourite combinations to some much stranger duos. 	Tesco ... read somewhere recently that Tesco took in one in every eight pounds spent in Britain across all their services and were the second biggest retailer globally. While these are scary statistics (or impressive depending one where you stand), it isn t too hard to see why. For one thing their shops are everywhere. Every corner shop seems to be turning into a Tesco metro or Tesco express and every town seems to have an out of town big Tesco or Tesco Direct. This can also be seen as a good thing or a bad thing. They are providing cheap, easy access to groceries for everyone. On the other side of the fence are the people calling for them to stop their monopoly over the food ... 	The 99p Store ... love the 99p stores as you can (if you look properly) find a bargain. You do have to look carefully as some items you may find in your supermarket value range as 89p or in your local wilkinsons or poundstreacher. Baby items like bibs with sleeves, harnesses with reigns are excellent value, some food items are very good, but look out for the best before date as items you ll use now are fine but the expire soon so don t bother stocking up. It s also worth noting that some stock changes so you mustn t rely on getting a specific brand of item next time you go in, if you want it you should buy it now unless you can live without it.
