Advantages: Excellent quality chocolate for every occasion.

Hotel Chocolat is a choclatier of the highest calibre. It sells a wide variety of chocolates, all very fresh and made with the finest ingredients.

The chocolate tasting club is the members' section of Hotel Chocolat. Members of this club can be sent boxes of chocolates monthly, or every other month, and then have the opportunity to give their feedback on the chocolates. The chocolates in these boxes are all original and new, and the most popular chocolates are used in the general boxes that you can buy in the Hotel Chocolat shops or on the website. The price of the tasting boxes are around £16 per box.

Hotel Chocolate offers a wide variety of products all year round, including boxes of chocolates, chocolate slaps and drinking chocolate. In addition to this, they have seasonal products, for Christmas, Easter, and each of the four seasons, as well as items for special occasions- weddings, new baby, anniversary, thank you, and dinner party. This diversity means there is always something suitable for whatever you may want it for.

Hotel Chocolat caters for everyone; they have ranges for children, adults, vegetarians, vegans, and diabetics.

The prices of the chocolate range from miniature chocolate slabs for £3.65 to £491 hampers containing everything you could possibly imagine. The nice thing is, no matter how much you want to spend, either on yourself or on gifts for people, there is bound it be something that suits. The beautiful presentation of all the chocolate means it looks, as well as tastes classy, so even if you spend only a few pounds and buy something small, it will never look like a tiny gift that you spend 50p on.

For small gifts, my favourite item is a box of 'caramel canapes' for £5.90. I think this is a really lovely box to give to someone as a token of thanks, just to show your appreciation, without spending a lot f money.

My experience of Hotel Chocolat has been 100% positive, and I love everything about it! It is expensive, but it is worth it as the quality of the chocolate is absolutely unbeatable. Apart from the tasting boxes, Hotel chocolat products are more the kind of things you buy as gifts than for yourself, due to the price, but of course, that doesn't mean you can't treat yourself once in a while!
