Advantages: Great Treats, Great selection, Freshly Baked

Disadvantages: Pricey, Lots of fat!

Working opposite Millie's Cookies for over 3 years & becoming a huge fan of their products I had to write a review!
The smell of the cookies and muffins cooking every morning always used to waft across to the shop and it always used to tempt me on my tea-break!

**Where are they?**
Millies Cookies have over 120 shops across the UK.
What do they sell?
I think the name is rather obvious! Millie's sell cookies, muffins, cookie pops, ice cream & giant cookies.

***About their products***
The cookies come in the following flavours, Apple & white chocolate, Apricot & Almond, Double Chocolate (my favourite), Milk Chocolate, Oatmeal & raisin, Orange & chocolate, Peanut chocolate, Plain chocolate, Raspberry & white chocolate, Toffee chocolate, white chocolate, Just Ginger & more!
Muffins come in banana toffee (my favourite), double chocolate, Chocolate Chunk, Blueberry & Raspeberry ripple.

Cookie pops are a cookie on a stick (great treat for kids) with coloured smarties on one side of the cookie. When you buy this 4p goes to The Variety Club of Great Britain & 3p to Childline, from every cookie pop sold. Since 1997 they have donated over £350,000 from the sales of cookie pops.

The ice cream they supply is by an american company called Baskin-Robbins. Baskin-Robbins have made over 1,000 different ice cream flavours. Some of these flavours include, chocolate chip cookie dough (my favourite), Peanut butter and chocolate, French vanilla, Very berry strawberry & more. You can also make milkshakes from any of these ice creams.

The giant cookies are bascially a giant cookie (you choose the flavour), and you choose and message to go on there and what colour icing you want on there.

***So how good do the products taste?***
I have tried the white chocolate, double chocolate, milk chocolate and plain chocolate cookies. They are very nice when they are still warm. They cookies feel quite hard on the outside but when you bits into them they are moist and soft. You dont get crumbs dropping everywhere either. They melt in your mouth. These cookies do get quite sickly after a while, so dont scoff too many.

I have tried the Double Chocolate, Chocolate Chunk and the Banana Toffee muffins. My favourite has to be the Banana Toffee muffins although they dont seem to sell these anymore at my local millies . . very dissapointing! The muffins are quite large in size and are very soft and moist when you bite into it/take it apart (how-ever you like to do it!). The chocolate muffins are very sickly and I felt very bloated after eating half of one.

The cookie pops are quite hard and I found that they were a bit chewy at first but soon softened up. I really like this product, I thought it being on a stick it made it more appealing and fun for kids. It has just a plain cookie taste but with the added smarties!

The ice cream just melts in your mouth and the flavours are amazing. The flavours are so creamy and so tasty. They obviously have different textures as some have pieces in (strawberry pieces, cookie pieces, etc).

The giant cookies are even better than the regular size cookies. I had a giant chocolate chunk cookie which cost me about £9.99. The chocolate chunks in this cookie were huge and I had red icing on the top which had a slight strawberry taste to it. This cookie didn't taste too great after a afew days but is perfect for parties and a good substitute for a birthday cake.

***Are the prices reasonable?***
For a single cookie its 85p
For 13 in a gift box its £4.75 which works out 37p per cookie!
Muffins are £1.69 for 1 muffin and you also get a free hot drink with the product
Cookie pops are 90p each
Giant/Celebration cookies are £9.99 each.

Millies also have a website where you can join the cookie club to win prizes. It also lists stores across the UK, Nutritional information, Competitions & a full list if prices.

***Overall verdict?***
Products are tasty, and good quality but I think slightly pricey. These are brilliant as a treat, but not recommended as a regular snack, as they are very fattening! (In a classic plain chocolate cookie there is 10.0g fat. In a blueberry muffin there is 35.1g of fat.)

Summary: Fluffy, Soft Muffins, Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Soft ice-cream . . sounds like heaven!

I love these to bits....used to buy them regularly at Liverpool St Station in London on my way home from work. I put on so much weight because I couldn't stop eating them. I love the double chocolate ones best too.
