Advantages: Saves money, good choice of products, cheery, polite staff.
Disadvantages: Bargains sell out, so be quick, better to walk, parkings not the easiest.
Thank Heavens for Quality Save- I Love it!
We are lucky enough to have a large branch, about 10 minutes walk from our house.
What do they sell? Rather, what don't they sell?
They sell almost everything, but certain items are stocked all the time while some are stocked intermittently and some just appear once or may reappear again one day in the distant future.
I have surmised they get a "job lot" of certain items occasionally.
What I learnt very quickly is- If they have it and you want it then buy it.
Next time you shop there they could well have sold out especially with their cheap prices.
Lots of well known brands are stocked-
Cadburys, Nescafe, Stain Devils, Nurofen, Lucozade, Ribena, Kellogs to name but a few.
They also have Foreign brands, some you will find in Neto, Lidl etc.
Most prices are considerably cheaper and bargains are always to be had.
They stock-
Bodycare- for men and women including products for holidays they always stock Hawaiin Tropic, my favourite sun cream, Love the smell.
Babycare- including toys, night wear, baby lotion, soap, books.
House hold- cushions, bed linen, pillows, pictures, towels.
Medicines- pain killers, cough mixtures, muscle rubs.
Cleaning products- washing powder, air freshners
Sandwich bags, tinfoil, clingfilm, batteries
Food- no chilled food , frozen or fresh fruit/veg but a good selection of everything else. I always check the sell by date but, saying that I do that in all food shops.
Drinks, crisps, chocolate, sweets a small selection of alcohol,
I think that gives you a pretty indepth view of what they stock.
As you can imagine it's always very busy with such bargains to be had.
Always well stocked, clean and what I really like the staff are great, helpful, plesant, polite and they are mainly young staff that appear to work very hard mind you any one that deals with The Great British Public tends to have to work hard lovely bunch we are!
A quick price check of items I buy regularly-
Maryland chocolate chip cookies 39p large pack (usually 99p)
Woolite washing liquid large 3 litre £2.99 (usually £9.99)
Nurofen Express 16 caplets £1.69 (usually £2.44)
Open Mon- Sat -9.00- 5.30pm
At Christmas, they open approx the last 4 Sunday's before Christmas Day, depending on what day of the week it fall's I find that a big help.
So I think you will agree its always worth a mooch round Quality Save, but take your time or you may miss a bargain.
Summary: Good quality & selection of products, excellent service.
