OK you may think i'm a bit biast cos i work in asda but i've had the complaints voiced to me about our store and what i dont get is why i dont hear the ones about tesco.

ok so, our store was closed because of the takeover so we shopped in tesco for a few weeks. i decided to go along with the family to tesco to have a nosey as you do. the trolleys are grand, their range of products in this store was good/great depending on the department. however their clothing department was a mess and their beers wines and spirits had cages blocking the isles, they were even being used, they had been left lying there.

can i just say... their low price own branded products are not just low in price, but low in quality. take their pizzas for example, thin, hardly any tomato or cheese on them, id have paid the extra for the goodfellas to be honest. so anyway i got a bit bored of the place, and a bit annoyed having to trip over cages and the like. So i went down to their coffee shop for something to eat. The selection of sandwiches was minimal and there was non hot food on. NON! this was at 4pm! I would understand if it was near closing time but 4pm is way to early to take off food. i settled myself with a coffee. Then the girl couldnt work the till so she said to go drink it and pay after. so i did, had a nice wee sit down. got up to pay waiting on the girls coming to serve me. no one there, the till was unmanned, stood there 5 mins, then the girls walks up behind me and goes into the store. she started talking to her. im like "excuse me". I get ignored!!! eventually i get her attention. soo mum and dad are at the checkout at this point. so we put the stuff up on the belt. the girl scans it through, and her face is tripping her, i look around and the rest of them have the same face, not even a hello, please, thank you or good bye. she just stated how much it was, didnt even lift a finger to help us pack when the bay was full of shopping. i walked away disgusted. i came out of that store actually proud of my checkouts and how we interact. it really put me off tesco. i find the same thing happens in the other 2 tescos ive been to. wont be back!
