Advantages: Special offers, clubcard vouchers
Disadvantages: Fruit and vege can be expensive
I have shopped at Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsburys over the years but Tesco is my favourite suermarket. There are three Tescos near to my house and the nearest one is massive!
Firstly Tesco do a really good range of stationary including cheap pens (I'm a teacher so always buying these!). I find their value pens are great at just 31p and last ages. They also do a really nice range of cardmaking bits and pieces- great if you are planning a wedding like me. In addition to this they have a great selection of birthday cards so there is no need to shop elsewhere if you have a last minute card to get.
I'm also a fan of Tesco's Cherokee clothing- it's cheap, fashionable and wears well. They have a good range of shoes and bags too. Moreover they seem to have quite a lot of sales on the clothes; for example its 25% of knitwear at the moment.
Moving on to the food Tesco have an extensive range of fruit and vege. Although this can be expensive and the fruit doesn't always seem to last long.
The fish counter has a good range as does the meat. They also have a really good selction of fresh bread and cakes in my local.
The great thing about Tesco is there are always a lot of offers on so savings can be made. For example buy 1 get 1 free or money off.
In addition to this I love Tesco clubcard vouchers; they are the main reason i shop at Tesco. You get a point for every pound you spend and then every quarter receive vouchers in the post. The great thing is the vouchers can be exchanged for 4 times their value for restaurants, days out, holidays etc.
Overall my favourite supermarket!
