Advantages: convenient, cheap, great loyalty

I have a few Tesco stores in my local area, large Extras, a metro and an Express is in the pipeline. One of the Customer Service Centres is also i the vicinity...

I have to say that I believe all of the pricing to be fair, and the offers are quite often pretty amazing!!
I have never personally received poor service and if I have had cause to visit the customer service desk, this has always gone pretty smoothly.

I feel that I prefer the atmosphere in a Tesco store, some of the others feel a little like libraries to me! The staff always have achat with me at the checkout, and will help me out when I ask.

When my son was younger and was in a buggy, I popped into the metro store in the centre of town, and was struggling carring the basket and directiing the buggy.
One of the staff members approached me and took my basket, coming around shopping with me!! He is still there to this day and is now a member of management.

I agree that sometimes you can feel rushed when it is busy, but I can only imaging being a checkout opertor, trying to make sure that noone complains about waiting too long, then someone complains that they were rushed out of the store!!

I love going to Tesco, the clubcard points offer far more benefits than any other loyalty scheme i know, in fact I am paying for half of my holiday with my clubcard vouchers next year.

Tesco is a huge company, and i genuinely believe that they would not do so well if they did not have customers coming back again and again!

Summary: you gotta hand it to them, its all under one roof!
