Advantages: good selection

Disadvantages: some items hard to find

With travelling to various festivals etc over this last summer, I have had to visit a supermarket quite often to stock up on snack type foods and of course alcohol! Tesco has been the place that I have managed to visit the most and I was quite impressed really.

With not having a big Tesco in my own town, I wasn't really sure what to expect price wise, but most things seemed to be on par with Asda so that was good.

Tesco sells many different items. Of course it sells the usual foody things for everyday eating and all the basics, but it also sells a range of meats, cakes and veggie foods. I did find that it took me a while to find certain things as they weren't where they usually are. An example of this was the hommous; it was hidden away by the side of the veg in one store. If I wasn't shown where it was, I would never have found it.

Whilst browsing the store, I saw that they sold things such as baby toys, camping equipment (which was very useful to me), cards and seasonal items. I even managed to purchase some new sunglasses after I broke my last pair!

Along with everything else in store, Tesco also has a cigarette stand for those wanting to buy cigarettes and also a Cafe if you wish for a bite to eat.

Although I do prefer Asda in general, I do like Tesco's and will visit them again next summer no doubt.
