Advantages: Great value products, some really surprising items for only 99p

Disadvantages: The queues can get quite long

The 99p store is actually a really great place to go i you are not fussy. I come in here occasionally. it would not be the place I would do my weekly shop, but as a place to supplement the weekly shop it is absolutely perfect.

Store Layout:

Well this is one of the more negative aspects of the store, due to the prices, they try to cram so much into the store that it is hard to find things and with the large queues it can be difficult to get to shelves. The store is made up of snack type foods, houseware, dvd's and a selection of bric a brac.

Staff:

To be honest you'll struggle to find staff unless they are restocking shelves, they are helpful but in a limited way, as if something isn't where they think it should be they will just leave you there.

Value:

Well it is easy to work out how much you've spent as everything in the store is 99p, I have found some real bargains here and occasionally pop in to stock up our spare cupboard, with 4 mars bars for £1, or some great value on rice, cereals jaffa cakes and even branded olives, sauerkraut and pickled beetroot, it is great value and you can find some real quality items, if you search, as I say you probably couldn't do your weekly shop here but there are some great bargains.

My View:

I like the store and its ethic, there are some great value items, and some that are pure junk, staff work quickly and tirelessly and while the place feels chaotic due to the queues and crowds of people its worth persevering for some good value products.
