Ques and Ques of people were waiting for our local branch of the 99p store in Southampton to open waiting an hour and a half to pay the 99p store is a success.

99P Stores Ltd was founded by Entrepreneur Nadir Lalani in January 2001. He opened his first store in Holloway in London, and continued to open 3 more stores that year. In 2002 Nadir decided to expand the business throughout the UK. He has rapidly developed 99P Stores making a total of 112 stores to date, serving almost 1 million customers per week!

I hear you ask whats the quality like for 99p ????

Well to be honest better than you think i have had things last for ages the only products i try to avoid are the toys as kids break everything anyway it wont last 5 mins lol.

The Christmas items are fantastic seeing as though you only have decorations up once a year so a thumbs up on that one.

The Tools and stationary items are good quality.

You can also get branded items such as Heinz , Pledge, Johnsons , and some more.

They also sell a small range of clothes such as T- shirts, hats , scarves, socks , underwear.

Most branches have seem to taken over the old Woolworths store all across the country.

I just remembered another thing to avoid is the washing powder as although its OK the box is only half filled!!
