Advantages: some items excellent value

Disadvantages: some items cheaper elsewhere

I love the 99p stores as you can (if you look properly) find a bargain. You do have to look carefully as some items you may find in your supermarket value range as 89p or in your local wilkinsons or poundstreacher.

Baby items like bibs with sleeves, harnesses with reigns are excellent value, some food items are very good, but look out for the best before date as items you'll use now are fine but the expire soon so don't bother stocking up.

It's also worth noting that some stock changes so you mustn't rely on getting a specific brand of item next time you go in, if you want it you should buy it now unless you can live without it.

All in all these shops are a happy medium - don't get too carried away and you'll do just fine.

Our store is cash only but I don't know about other branches, And you must keep your receipt for refunds as many items are available elsewhere. The isles are very narrow also in these shops.

Summary: great unless you impulse buy,,,
