Drewster_Rooster Cadbury's Wispa Gold: ... have read a few reviews about the return of Wispa Gold on here over the past couple of months and until yesterday had resisted the temptation to buy into the hype of its heralded return, however as a bar caught my eye in Tesco s petrol station I decided to pick it up and see what the fuss had been all about. By getting around to only reviewing it now you can probably tell that it didn t excite me quite as much as ...

beckyX Baxters Potato & Leek

The Baxter s potato and leek soup was on special offer at my local supermarket for three tins for a £2.00, but its usual price was 89p per 415g tin. Since the local supermarket has very few dairy free tins of soup and this is dairy free, it was pretty much a given that I d get this one eventually. The branding struck me as particularly bizarre - it offers a "hug in a bowl" - I m not sure why on earth I d want a hug from a piping hot bowl of soup, that sounds likely to scald. The tin has a ring pull make it easy and convenient to open, although I fo...

loveplanes Bourbon Biscuits
... a great biscuit! Chocolate bourbons have been around since the first world war when it was calld the creola biscuit, yet still it continue to impress. Chocolate bourbons are formed of two plain rectangular chocolate biscuits with a chocolate cream sandwiched between them. You bite into it and get a sudden crunch then it moves it to a thick yet smooth and rich chocloate cream and then finally into the second biscuit. The cream and the biscuit sandwich have been around for a long tim...

harriet100 Sesame Snaps
... snaps can be bought lots of places including from supermarkets, health food shops and garden centres, for a really good price, they are even cheaper if you can get hold of the multipacks. I remember having them from a young age and I still love them now. They have a crunchy, sticky and appetising flavour, which not eveyone likes, but I find delicious. You can also get lots of different flavours of sesame snaps, including coconut, chocolate and yogurt, which are all even tastier, providing a great contrast to the texture of the normal sesame snaps. The only disadvantages are that they can easily get crushed in your bag, making a sticky mess, and they can stick to yo...
