Betty Crocker Chocolate Swirl Cake Mix:
... have just used this cake for the second time. It s getting a second outing due to a request from our eldest for this, and no other cake, for her 13th birthday, having enjoyed the last one so much! Not only that, but after her performance with the previous one, our youngest, aged 9, was commissioned to do the baking. It is a great cake for a novice to get their teeth into (pardon the pun), extremely straightforward... Read the full review: Marbleously simple! by melinda3536 |

Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix ... and my sister decided to get this as we had a sudden urge for cookies, and made it on the same day... but the results were not entirely what we expected... ~~~PACKAGING~~~ The cookie mix came in a plastic packet, with a lovely photo of the supposed outcome printed on the front, and easy step by step instructions on the back. ~~~PREPARATION~~~ Preparing the mixture was simple, all you had to do was add water... and we did that... but my sister claimed it was too WET, so we added some self raising flour before ovening it... The process took around 15 minutes, including preheating the oven. The cookies need to be baked for about 10-12 minutes. ~~~APPERANCE TASTE AND ... Betty Crocker Ready to Spread Icing Chocolate Fudge ... Crocker products are very good. This icing in particular. I constantly use Betty Crocker s products as I had nothing to do when I moved in with my boyfriend so I started baking with mixes. I wanted to do something other than little fairy cakes that don t fill anyone. I started making bigger buns with mixed food colouring and then putting one of Betty Crocker s pots of icing on top of them. Simply get a knife and scoop the knife equivalent of a spoonful and twirl it around the sponge. I make my cakes look like something out of an M&S advert with a knife and this icing. It is in a standard mug sized pot with a foil lid. The use-by date is months after you buy it... Read the full review: The perfect topping for muffins, buns and cakes. by Kahdeksantoista |

Betty Crocker Ready to Spread Icing Rich & Creamy Vanilla ... cake for it. Looking through my recipe book I thought that a marble cake would be a good idea and set off to the supermarket to buy some ingredients. It was while I was browsing the shelves in the baking aisle I realised that if I put icing on it I would have no way to get the cake to work without ruining it. Then I spotted some ready made icing that could potentially save the day. It was Betty Crocker Ready to Spread Icing. It was available in chocolate or vanilla, I chose vanilla mainly because it was a bit cheaper. This meant I could ice the cake just before it was being served. The icing comes in a 450g tub with a red lid, and cost £1.75. To use you sim... Read the full review: It's not cheap but it is easy!! by x-cupcake-x |
