Cathedral City Mature Cheddar:
... but does the job. Then I noticed a buy one get one free offer on a brand which I would normally consider to be overpriced and too expensive for the likes of me but thought I d give it a go for the price. I was very impressed by the quality and taste of the Cathedral City Cheddar. I would never pretend to be any kind of expert on cheese, but comparing this to the Tesco value variety it is far better. Cathedral City Mature Cheddar ... am a huge cheese fan. Being a vegetarian (and obviously not a vegan) it is pretty much a staple meal requirement and I add it to allsorts of foods and meals to keep my protein and fat quotas up. In my time I have tried many different brands of cheese. I tend to like mature more than mild cheddar, for two reasons. One, its stronger and I like the taste more. Two, if you have it in sandwiches it doesn t seem to go as sweaty and plasticy if they are out of the fridge for very long. Cathedral City Mature Cheddar ... brand I will, and if the cheaper alternative proves to be a good choice then I will stick with them. Saying that though, there are few things that I won t compromise on, and Cheese is one of them. Having always been partial to a nice bit of cheese I have, over the years tried a lot of the varieties available, Cheddar and Red Leicester are particular favourites and when, a few years ago, Cathedral City Mature Cheddar was launched I bought some to try. Loving it back then and still loving it now, Cathedral City is a regular purchase of mine and I seem to always have a block of it in my fridge. Packaged as pictured above it is billed as being the "UK s favour... Read the full review: Cheese? Yes please! by Drewster_Rooster |

Cathedral City Mature Cheddar ... of my life I ve opted simply for store s own label cheeses... very boring I know, but I always figured cheddar was cheddar. But then a few years ago I opted to try Cathedral City. Now, I ve never been a lover of strong/mature cheese, so I wasn t sure how this one would go down, even though the packageing states mature yet mellow . Turns out, it went down very well, & has been doing so ever since! However, on a bit of an economy drive a few weeks ago, I turned once again to the once trusted own-label cheddar. Boy, was I disappointed! It was bland & tasteless...when grated onto a meal, or added to a sandwich, well, it may aswell have not been there - I...
