Kingsmill Everyday bread:
... it comes to bread, i buy whatever is on offer, as i believe paying anything more than a pound for bread is nothing short of daylight robbery. This delightful bread came up in tesco on offer for 80p, so it simply called to me. The blue packaging helped, but it was more the big sign saying Special Offer! . Opening the pack, there was quite an unusually strong bread smell. Far more than the usual supermarket br... Read the full review: Everyday...if you're rich enough by Gaven |

Kingsmill 50/50 Bread ... me who likes wholemeal bread and my partner who likes white bread but some weeks we only get through one loaf of bread between us and while it s always nice to feed the ducks in the winter it is a bit of a waste in the summer to have bread left lying around that goes off. With that in mind we started looking at the half and half bread to see if we liked any of them and one that we ve tried is Kingsmill 50/50. Kingsmill 50/50 says on the bag it is white bread but if I m honest it looks more brown than white so if you were planning on buying this to sneak wholegrain into kids they will spot this straight away! It contains no bits however which is closer to white bread... Read the full review: Half and half by Tracy_1127 |

Kingsmill Everyday Wholemeal Bread ... I associate with being on of the top bread makers alongside Warburtons and Hovis but was a bit let down by this loaf compared to normal wholemeal bread. The look? Each slice I thought looked very manufactured in its appearance, it was almost square as square as it could be, it didnt look much like a slice from a loaf, very well balanced, no air holes in the bread very consistent look. Price? £1.22 for a 800gram loaf, a few offers around at the moment 2 for £2 at tesco or 3 for £3 at asda About the Taste? I thought this was a bit dry, I know that wholemeal will taste a little dry but this was very dry in taste, it may be down to the wheat which is put in f... Kingsmill Love to toast Pancakes ... brought these Kingsmill Love To Toast Pancakes when they were on special offer last week, I can t remember the price of them now but I remember it was a good saving and I got some of their muffins too. The pancakes can be either eaten cold straight from the packet or toasted lightly to eat them hot. They re best hot I think with butter spread on the top because the butter soaks through lovely, you can add jam or syrup too but I prefer them as plain as possible because I love the taste of the pancakes. The pancakes are yummy. They are very soft with a delish airy texture, they have got little holes inside them and that makes them taste very light to eat but they re s...
