New Covent Garden Smoked Haddock Chowder:
... CAN I BUY THIS SOUP? Covent Garden fresh soups are in the refrigerated section of most supermarkets. In this cardboard box type of container you will find a generous 600ml of soup which gives a good portion to each of two people. It was nice to see that the soup was the colour of Thai green curry only slightly paler WHY BUY THIS WHEN YOU COULD MAKE YOUR OWN? I do make my own soups regularly as they are cheap... New Covent Garden Plum Tomato and Basil Soup ... rather guilty after eating some Mini Cheddars (see other review) today and not really wanting a Sunday dinner I decided to be good and have some soup instead. After reading so many reviews on here about Covent Garden Soups and hearing how great they are I bought some yesterday to see what the fuss was all about. As Tomato is my favourite flavour when it comes to Heinz soups I decided to go for the "Plum tomato & Sweet Basil" variety. On offer at the moment priced at £1.00 rather than £1.96 it seemed a sensible time to buy and try. Contained in the carton pictured above the packaging looks attractive and premium. It is described as "refreshing... Read the full review: The best soup I have ever tasted... by Drewster_Rooster |

New Covent Garden Leek & Potato Soup ... love Covent Garden soups. They taste so much better than anything that comes in a tin that I ve been spoiled and find they re the only supermarket brand soups I want to eat nowadays. The difference comes from the fact that they use all natural ingredients so their soups taste just like homemade. For example, the ingredients in this soup are "Water, Potatoes (32%), Leeks (14%), Onions, Cream, Milk, Butter, Salt, White Pepper." And that s it! No funny E-numbers or unpronounceable words, just things I would put in the soup if I had the time and made it at home. I often take soup into work for lunch with me on cold winter days because it s one of the few way... Read the full review: Creamy, delicious soup by song_of_calliope |

New Covent Garden Thai Chicken Fusion Soup ... Covent Garden Thai Chicken Fusion Soup Description: Manufacturer: New Covent Garden / Type: Soups http://www.newcoventgardenfood.com You have probably seen these soups in the chiller cabinet of your local supermarket. They are often to be found on offer (I paid just £1 for this one) and do last for a while (check the use by dates to see how long) so are great to buy and keep in the fridge for quick and tasty lunches. New Covent Garden call this variety their own version of the traditional Thai soup, Tom Kha Kai. I love this soup so was keen to try this one. It comes in a cardboard carton which is easy to pour. You simply pour into a saucepan or microwave dis... Read the full review: Where's the chilli?! by Assasin |
