	Quorn Mini Kiev ... a good old clear out of the freezer trying to make room for all the Christmas goodies and maybe a turkey (WHY ARE THEY SO EXPENSIVE !!) if I can find a cheaper one than the ones I ve seen so far, I discover at the bottom of the freezer a couple of boxes of these Quorn Mini Kievs. Hoping they are not out of date, I pull them to the top and luckily the date is Nov 10, so thats OK. Now again as I mentioned in another review (spotted dick) these were a bargain I got when Tesco s were having a freezer clearance sale and I got about half a dozen of these as they were selling for 49p, that week it was madness the prices they were selling things for. 	Quorn Lemon & Black Pepper Escalopes ... bought these when they were on offer (something like a packet (of 2) for £1 probably) and they are ok. I dont think I would buy them for full price (sorry I dont know what that price is) but they are an ok thing to have in the freezer to go with other things when you dont want anything difficult. I have to say I was dubious when I first tried one of these as I don t actually like black pepper but I was totally wrong, it wasn t the pepper I needed to be wary of, it was the lemon. The peppery flavour is not at all overpowering but I found the lemon really stong. It wasn t too sour or anything but it did taste like you dumped a whole load of juice on it. Still fine thoug... 	Quorn Chicken Style Pieces ... have always been a vegetarian and I love these quorn pieces. Some people may say its hypocritical to eat them but I find the meat substutute products like this the best way for me to get the protein that I need. These chicken pieces are quite healthy and they are approved by the vegetarian society. They are high in protein and low in fat but their best feature is their versatility (in my opinion). I have used these pieces in all sorts from curries, pastas, on pizzas and in things like fajitas.
