Quorn Bangers:
... food that was vegetarian but an imitation, in effect, of meat. I found it to be a very bizarre concept but in October 2007 I decided to change the way I ate and also, my opinions on food. As of yesterday, I have lost 4st 7lbs and this is partly, with thanks, to the Quorn Bangers. At 58 calories each I found these fake sausages (as I initially knew them by) to be very filling and perfect for any meal. They go p... Quorn Mince ... is derived from fungus, doesn t sound tasty but it is! It s very much like the Textured Vegetable Protein of the eighties except the texture is better (it s not solid lumps of cardboard tasting nastiness) and whatever you add to quorn becomes it s flavour. I buy the mince, not because I m a vegetarian, but because it doesn t have nasty bits of tubes, fat and hard lumps in it unlike beef mince. It s also lower in fat than meat, high in protein and higher in fibre so it s actually pretty good for you. I make shepherds pies, chilli, lasagne and bolognese out of quorn mince and as long as you add an oxo cube to the product while cooking it it tastes meaty anyway. ... Quorn Mince ... mince is the best invention ever, my friend introduced me to it a few years back, and since that time i have been a quorn mince lover. Firstly its low in fat, its about £2-£3 to buy which is pricey but it doesnt go off like normal mince and seems to go along way. You pop it in your freezer and when you need it you just take a few hand fulls out and within minutes its ready. Spagetti bolognaise has never been so easy. I love you ease of use with it, and i always have a spare bag in the freezer. It can be used to make things from chilli, to bolognaise to faitia wraps, Its very versatile. You can buy this in most good supermarkets, if you see an offer, grab i... Read the full review: excellent quorn mince by nicnncha |

Quorn Mature Cheddar & Broccoli Escalopes ... have been a fan of quorn for many years, and ive always loved chicken escalopes, so when i saw quorn had there own version, i ran out and bought them. You get 2 escalopes for about £2.50, and thery are fairly large, so good portions. You need to put them on a low heat, if you put them to high, the cheese will ooze out everywhere. The taste is delicious, the coating is great, and the cheddar and broccoli sauce is gorgeous. The quorn really does taste like chicken, and if i was blindfolded i wouldnt know this wasnt chicken. This is a great meal, i tend to have it with mash and peas. Its a great healthy meal and one i d throughly recommend trying. You can buy...
