moo2moo Sharwood's Green Label Mango Chutney: ... season as its prepared fresh rather than preserved. Fresh mango chutney is easy to make at home taking only a couple of hours from start to finish but its expensive to do and you don t get a lot although it does taste delicoious. The lazy alternative is a jar of Sharwoods Green Label Mango Chutney which can be found on the shelves of most supermarkets. The jars come in two sizes, 530g at £2.09 or the smaller 2...

hstokoe44395 Sharwood's Green Label Squeezy Mango Chutney
... curry for a few years now. I din t used to like it when I first tried it but after a while I learnt how to add that little extra flavour into it! When I make a curry, we always tend to have poppadoms with a little bit of mango chutney, but it really annoyed me when I couldn t get it out of the bottle. I had to literally smack it to make it come out! When I was in Tesco recently, I spotted this Sharwood s squeezy mango chutney and it went straight into the trolley. I thought, finally I can eat the chutney! Packaging This has quite an authentic, culture type of label with patterns prodominantly found in Asia and India. It comes in a 375g plasic bottle and is well prese...

Clurbur85 Sharwood's Tikka Masala
... like making curries at home, because let s face it - it s not always possible to go out and pay £15 for an Indian meal. I like this particular curry sauce because it is cheap, easy to use and it tastes nice. I always think that a chicken tika is a good meal to make if you have guests coming over, because the majority of people are happy to eat chicken tika. *Price and nutritional content I normally pick this source up from my local pound shop and I pay £1 for it, but if I pick it up at the supermarket I will pay about £1.60. As with other curry sauces this is quite high in fat 8.2 grams (4.1g saturated) per 100 grams. But let s face it, all currys are fattening and ...

quelconque Sharwood's Ready to Eat Puppodums
... m a great fan of Indian food and regularly cook my own curries from one of my preferred cookbooks. But, as much as the curry itself, eating Indian is as much about presentation and what goes with it. There s always a dhal, Geeta s chutney and, if my wife hasn t made naan dough for me, Sharwood s Poppadums. There s a choice of ready-to-eat or ready-to-fry. In either case the ingredients are the same - black chick pea gram flour, sea salt, raising agent, calcium oxide and rice flour, and at 37 calories a poppadum they don t really signify against the background of everything else you re eating. They also state that they are suitable for vegetarians. Which of the two...
