worst_trip Tunnock's Teacakes: ... like to think of myself as a fairly open-minded kind of person in general, and as I have had a broadband internet connection for a number of years now, it s been quite a long time since I ve encountered anything surprising enough to really startle me. Seeing that Tunnock s Teacakes have consistently been awarded five stars by the 30-odd people who have reviewed the product on this web-site has however come as a co...

lisajo Tunnock's Teacakes
... had not had Teacakes in such a long time and I spotted Tunnock s Teacakes in Asda earlier on this week whilst shopping and put a box in my trolley. Grandma has been to stay with us for a few days and I like to have something other than biscuits in for her to have with a cuppa. I paid 90p for a box of 6 of these Teacakes. These round cakes have a biscuit base, which is not the best, but passable. A good helping of sweet squigy marshmallow is topped with smooth milk chocolate to form a dome shape. These are really nice as a little treat and at only 91 calories and 4g of fat per biscuit I would much rather have one of these than a couple of of bourbons. they kind...

Gaven Tunnock's Caramel Wafer
... the packaging for these biscuits is stripy, red and gold, so it is not easily missed when shopping around in a supermarket. It makes the rather boastful claim that 5 million are made and sold every week. I think this is a bit of an optimistic claim, as i ve yet to meet anyone who actually buys these biscuits. There are countless things better, but these will do when there s nothing else at hand! Right, the actual biscuit consists of layers of wafer and caramel, coated with chocolate. The wafer...

loveplanes Tunnock's Caramel Wafer
... really is a fantastic chocolate bar. It has been around for roughly 100 years yet it still impresses because it tastes so good. Infact it is so popular that more than 5,000,000 are produced and sold every week - made in Uddingston which is in scotland. So what is it? Well the tunnock s caramel bar is exactly what it says on the packet; its a milk chocolate coated caramel wafer buscuit. Basically its a wafer which has layers of chewy caramel in between it an then the whole thing is coated in milk chocolate. However, one of the best things about this chocolate bar is its packaging. It is has been kept the same for hundreds of years. It remains packaged in a peice of...
