I first started to get an organic food delivery from Abel and Cole, just over a year ago, a few months after the birth of my baby. I though that it would be convenient to have the groceries delivered, as we live in a flat with lots of stairs up to it, and it would also be healthier for all the family to eat more organic food, especially as I was thinking about weaning. I ordered a medium mixed fruit and vegetable box, some milk, butter and a wholemeal loaf, coming to just over £14.00 per week. At the time, I still had maternity pay coming in, so money was not a problem. I was happy with the quality of the produce, and the fact that it is not generally flown all over ...

The service is fantastic, the quality is great. This is a company that knows how to look after its customers and I can't recommend it highly enough. We have ordered veg. meat, cheese and wine from the company for over 6 months and have found all to be superb and competitively priced. It has been a bit of an eye opener having seasonal vegetables delivered and does involve a bit of a lifestyle change (for me anyway) and has really helped to inspire creativity in the kitchen. You can access recipes on the company website if you are ever at a loss for what to do with the contents of your box and regular news letters with suggestions ...

Used to be the best around, but bad quality produce and very late delivery (2 days late!) means they're now definitely the worst. Do not care about their clients, it's all about the money now for Abel & Cole.

Avoid at all cost!!!!
