Advantages: feels like a luxery
Disadvantages: none
After eights are a great chocolate sweet product that are really designed as a kind of finisher after a meal, which I guess is why they are called after eights, as long as you have your meal after 8 of course.
They are made up of mainly dark chocolate, its nestle dark chocolate and although I cant really think of any other dark chocolate nestle bar the dark chocolate, which I'm not usually a massive fan of does taste really nice, its quite strong in flavour but it works with the mint.
The mint layer in the middle is like a kind of white cream mint filling. It tastes very fresh and refreshing and because the mint itself is quite thin when you bite into it, the chocolate layers kind of bend and pull apart in your mouth, which feels great and tastes great too.
Each little after eight mint comes in its own little packet which gives a really luxury feel to the chocolates, they also come stacked in a box which is nicely designed as well so it gives a really classy expensive feel to the chocolates.
You can get a box of these for about £2.50, when they are full price, but if you look around you can get them a lot cheaper than this I'm sure, and I always get a couple of packs of these in for Christmas to finish up after dinner, and tea. They are a great after diner sweet and I wouldn't choose anything else but them.
Summary: great for christmas
