While walking around the supermarket lately I've noticed that I keep bumping into Ainsley Harriott ( well not literally!!) as he seemed to be very popular a few years back when he was on the telly all the time with his cooking programmes like Ready, Steady, Cook and Can't Cook Won't Cook. I believe he is still making Ready Steady Cook and is in fact just finished recording his new series for 2009/2010 which will be his fifteenith year in the limelight of TV. He did start of as being the Head Chef of the Long Room at Lords Cricket Ground many, many years ago and certainly knows a thing or two about cooking. So when you see his face on any products you can ...  Read the complete review

I have to take a packed lunch to work, as we don't have a canteen or have any shops locally that I can 'pop out' to when I fancy a nibble !!! I get so bored with sandwiches that I am always on the look out for new ideas. I need something which ... is easy to prepare doesn't cost a fortune can be transported to work in a small container can be eaten from the fridge (or if I forget to put it in the fridge can be eaten from the bag without having gone off during the morning). is versatile - I don't like having the same thing for dinner every day I have found something which fits the bill perfectly. COUS COUS ...  Read the complete review

I first discovered this Cous Cous at a BBQ and from my first taste I was hooked. I can be a bit of a health freak and love finding yummy foods that I can eat quite a bit of without feeling as guilty as I always do after eating a huge chocolate bar or bowl of chips. As a student I am also very keen to find easy to cook meals that aren't too expensive and so, after purchasing my own sachet of Ainsley Harriott Cous Cous, my obsession with Cous Cous began. So what is Cous Cous? ********************** Cous Cous is a traditional food from North Africa and is made of ground hard wheat. To the eye, Cous Cous looks like tiny grains which are hard until cooked ...  Read the complete review

Cous cous isn't everyone's cup of tea, and is most certainly not my husbands. He refuses to even touch the stuff. I on the other hand love it. On it's own it's incredibly bland but if you spice it up it can be really delicious. This product takes all the hassle out of thinking what to put in your cous cous to make it taste decent as it comes ready flavoured. What is cous cous? Couscous is a small grain which is made by sprinkling wheat semolina grains with cold salted water and rolling and coating them in fine wheat flour. It's very popular in North African cuisine. What flavours, how much and where available: The cous cous packs come in 5 ...  Read the complete review

Ainsley Harriot Cous Cous....... I was only introduced to the delights of Cous Cous within the last few years and I haven't looked back since. I have also found my favourite flavour after testing out a lot of shops own brands, ready made cous cousand finially my favourite Ainsley Harriott Cous Cous. The Cous Cous From Ainsley Harriott comes in several different flavours such as Citrus kick, Tomato Tango, Spice Sensation, Moroccan Medley and roasted Vegetable Style. I have tried all of these flavours, apart from the Citrus Kick as this really doesn't appeal to me, and found my favoruite to be the Moroccan Medley.
