Normally I'm not a huge fan of couscous, particularly not the stuff that comes out of a packet and taste of...absolutely nothing. However, yesterday evening I dug this couscous out of the cupboard. As I was in a bit of a rush the fact that the product takes just minutes to prepare was the major selling point for me. I am now very glad I tried this couscous and will definitely be buying it again. ~What is it?~ This is a savoury couscous that contains chunks of chargrilled peppers, onions and tomatoes. Several of you will remember that I posted a review of Ainsley Harriott's Moroccan Medley couscous quite a while ago now, which I really enjoyed and thought was a good buy. I have since gone back to Asda and bought many more of these couscous packets in as many different flavours as I can, and so I thought that I would share my opinions on all of the ones that I've tried. It has been quite a while since i tried this product, but I do remember it well. It was on offer in morrisons at the time, two for one, and I remember thinking that it might not be something I would buy normally if it were not on offer due to the price. i tend to buy plain couscous ordinarily, and jazz it up myself. I found it extremely easy to make, you simply add water, zap in the microwave, stir, zap a bit more, let it stand, job done. It's really very tasty too!
