The Aldi low fat range sports the 'Be Light' logo. THese Aldi low fat 'Rustic Potato Wedges with skin on 'are certainly a healthier option to chips. They are made from champion Grade A potatoes and contain no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives and no hydrogenated oils. THey also boast to be low in salt and contain less than 3% fat. On closer inspection these wedges contain nothing but potato, sunflower oil and dextrose. Once cooked in the oven, they contain just 137 calories per 100g with 3.4g protein, 25g carbohydrate of which 1.9g sugars, 2.6g fat of which 1.3g are saturates, 3.4g fibre, 0.13g salt.
