Weetabix Alpen Original

For some odd reason, the slightly out-of-focus picture that is found on the front of the Alpen Original box reminds me of our time spent in Garmisch, Germany. Sitting outside at a cafe or in the hotel enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Alps while eating a hearty and 100% natural breakfast of muesli was probably the impetus needed to put such a picture on the box. We have been there and done that and eating a bowl of Alpen always reminds me of our trip to the beauty of Southern Germany and Austria. Before I was diagnosed as a diabetic my real favourite cereal was Alpen Original and I have to say that I do still love it as a treat sometimes although I do try and eat the no added sugar version most of the time! When it comes to breakfast cereals I will eat most of them but I do have a few real favourites that I am quite happy to eat whatever time of the day it happens to be.
