These desserts come in 125g containers in packs of 4 that you break apart. The servings seem fairly small although not terribly so, and they are quite rich so one pot is a satisfying dessert particularly at lunchtime. You peel the foil top off the plastic container to reach the dessert inside. To me these desserts taste just like thick, rich and creamy chocolate pudding. They are delici...more

Premium Review Alpro Soya Dark Chocolate Flavoured Dessert: Tastes just like chocolate pudding to me but not to everyone ... (327 words)

I love alpro soya brand products of all types, especially their flavoured desserts. These desserts come in vanilla, caramel, chocolate and dark chocolate flavoured. This review is for the dark chocolate variety. These desserts make a great low-calorie treat at only 115 calories per pot. They also contain omega 3 and 6 oils which is important for vegetarians like myself (vegans too) as usually these oils are found in fish. These desserts are also perfect for people with nut allergies as they are produced in a nut-free environment, and for the lactose-intolerant as well. Finally and very reassuringly, they are made with non-GM soya beans. These ...  Read the complete review

I'm trying desperately to give up dairy produce due to the appalling way animals are treated in order to meet demand. So currently I'm trying out alternatives to everyday dairy products. I decided to try Alpro Soya dark chocolate flavoured desserts as an alternative to yoghurts. ++THE PRODUCT++ Alpro soya desserts come in a range of flavours, including chocolate, caramel, vanilla and forest fruits. I decided to try dark chocolate as I am a huge dark chocolate fan anyway. The dessert comes in a pack of 4 125g pots which have peel-off lids similar to yoghurts. The four pots are attached to each other and come in a cardboard sleeve which has ...  Read the complete review
