Advantages: sweet and thick

Disadvantages: None

Whenever I have a pudding I always know I want my custard with it. I used to make it from the powder however I could never seem to get it right as it was always lumpy or really runny...yuk not what you want with your cake! So when scouring the supermarket to find another custard to tryand I spotted ambrosia's ready made custard I could hardly contain my excitement, as now I had an easy way to make the perfect custard.

The custard itself is very yellow in colour and it is quite a thick custard which I love as I hate the more runny stuff! It however is very smooth and quite creamy although very sweet!

You can heat it either in the microwave (which I do as its simple) or on the hob.

The only thing which I feel is a slight drawback is that the tin itself is one thats needs to be opened with a can opener, maybe its just me but I always find this a bit tricky and feel it would be better if it was a tin you could simply pull off!

If you love custard then I would try this as it's the perfect custard with none of the hassle!

Summary: Easy way to have perfect custard
