Custard...in a tin! (Ambrosia Devon Custard)
Member Name: ktbainbridge
Advantages: Quick and easy. Disadvantages: More expensive than handmade.
I can't stand dry food. Even puddings, they have to be moisturised in some way and this leaves three choices, ice cream, cream or custard. I have always so far in life made my own custard and this has so far been successful. It has always tasted good so I have had no need to buy the tinned stuff. This changed when I was cooking for a big group of friends and to remove on element of the pressure I purchased some tins. When it comes to prepacked custard ambrosia is the only brand I would chose, purely because it is so heavily advertised I associate the two names instantly. Summary: Tastes good for tinned food! |
