... have just reviewed by favourite pudding which is Heinz Chocolate Sponge Pudding, but with every good pudding you need a good custard to put on top of it. The only custard I have ever bought and used is Ambrosia Devon Custard. In fact I can t ever see myself using anything different, maybe it is because I have childhood memories of that horrible lumpy custard you used to get at school or my mum attempting to make custard from powder. Either way I like custard to be straight out of a tin and to be the best brand there is available to buy. Ambrosia Custard (proudly made in Devon for over 90 years) comes in a 425g tin and costs 75p from Tesco, you can probably buy it...

... love custard with everything, so I buy this frequently. I haven t tried a great deal of other brands of custard, but this is gorgeous so I wouldn t need to replace it... I m doubting that anything else CAN! ~~~PACKAGING~~~ The custard is simply put into a tin can, with a paper wrapper around detailing what it is etc. It has a simple opener at the top with which you need to use a can opener to open, but once you open, it is simply custard, custard, custard! I personally find that it s a little messy, due to custard being fluid, and just mucks up your can opener. They should have the easy to open lid, where you just have to pull it back! ... be assured that this custard is more than fantastic. It is in a class of its own and can even be compared with some of the better home-made custards. There is no-need to go and spend lots of money on theserefrigerated store bought custards if you are going to be having the custard for a special occasion. This custard is sweet and of an excellent consistency. However this custard is not too sweet and it is not too thick. what I am trying to say is that it is just rght.
