say what?!.....A Pudding for 4 for 32p?!! (Angel Delight)

It sounds too good to be true to say you can get a delicious, light, creamy desert for 4 for a tiny 32p right?! Well its not.....

Angel delight is a yummy pudding that comes in a sachet and just requires 1/2 pint of fresh milk to make.

As it it stored in a sachet it means it has a VERY long shelf life and is so easy to store -just in a cool, dry place.

It contains no artificial colours or flavours and no hydrogenated fat, as well as calcium goodness from the milk.

It is not the healthiest of deserts but by no means is it the unhealthiest option either!
Below is what each 92g serving contains including what percentage of an adults recommended daily allowance it is:

calories 107 (5%)
sugars 11.6g (13%)
Fat 4.4g (6%)
Saturates 3.4g (17%)
Salt 0.5g (8%)

It is very easy to make, just whisk the angel delight into the 1/2 pint of milk and leave to thicken for 5 mins before serving.
EASY AS THAT! The instructions are clearly printed on the back, along with ideas of how to serve eg pouring over fruit cocktail, adding sprinkles etc but really its up to you, anything goes!

One of my favourite creations is to add more milk and make it more like a thick milkshake.

Although it says no need to chill, in my experience doing so speeds up the setting process (I know 5 mins isn't long but when you're waiting on this yummy desert it seems like a lifetime!) I also find it tastes nicer slightly chilled.

Its a great pudding for everyone, even as a little treat for little ones moving on to solids as its so light and fluffy!

One tip... wash the bowls straight away as it does set quick quickly and it makes it harder to wash up otherwise!

At 32p for 59g (serves 4) and available in 5 flavours (Well as far as Im aware?) - strawberry ( my favourite!), butterscotch, banana, raspberry and chocolate-
How could you resist giving this a go?!
