These are like the Australian penguin biscuits or at least thats the only thing I can compare them too however there is a subtle difference which I will come too in a bit. The ones I got were on offer at Tesco a while ago now, they were the 200g pack and I think it was 2 for £2.00 which is a fantastic deal as I have seen them since for over £2.00 a pack. I know you can order them online via specialist shops but honestly don't know if they are in all Tesco stores or just in the one I went to or what. As I said they are very similar to penguin biscuits but I think the chocolate is somewht denser in flavour, more cocoa I suspect. Apart from that they ... Read the complete review

I discovered these last year when I moved to Australia to study abroad. They are a best-selling product over there. My housemates and I grew to love them and often invited friends over for what we called 'Tim Tam Tea Time'... where we took part in the famous 'Tim Tam Slam' What is a Tim Tam Slam I hear you cry? Hang on and i'll tell you in a minute ;) Tim Tams are basically similar to Penguin biscuits, although slightly larger and I find them softer (maybe that's just cause of the weather in Australia?!) They are Australian biscuits and they do not really stock them in this country apart from a few specialty shops in London I believe and maybe also Tesco's. The Australian company that produces them is called Arnott's. Tim Tam biscuits Were first sold in 1964. The history around their beginning is quite interesting. Apparently, they were named after a horse that won the Kentucky Derby in 1958. A member of the Arnott family, Ross Arnott, attended the race day and decided 'Tim Tam' was the perfect name for his new biscuit. According to their website ,"the ... Read the complete review

Arnott's Tim Tam's. Well, these are Australian biscuits which I don't think you come across very easily in the UK. You can order them off Australian websites and get them sent over here but this costs a fortune!! Think some shops in London may sell them aswell. But to be honest, do you really want to waste your money on these? I tried these when I was in Australia and found they tasted exactly the same as our McVities Penguins! I didn't understand what the fascination was with them as Penguin's aren't really the nicest biscuit in the world that you have ever tasted, are they?? So if you're Australian and craving these biscuits, try Penguin's, ... Read the complete review
