We all have to save a few pennies these days and my favourite Mr Kipling cakes are not particularly cheap. While shopping in Asda I noticed they had their own brand of Almond Slices, at only 94p for a box of 6. The price compared well with Mr Kipling's, which are always well over £1, so I thought I would give them a try. The picture of the Asda almond slices on the front of the box looked nice. You can probably see it in the photo Dooyoo provide. But I have to say that when I opened the pack the real thing looked less impressive.
