Although the Chips look skinny and Microchip kind, the Sauce looks of medium spice judging by the colour of it, and it also looks quite thick. We all know what pictures on packaging can be like though! This takes 8 minutes in the Microwave on an 85owatt Oven, which is what we have. Other cooking instructions are on the back for other wattages. When the pack is cooked then we can see what the product is really like. The Sauce is quite thick and sticks to the Ch...more

Premium Review Asda Chips and Curry Sauce: LOADS OF CURRY SAUCE, BUT NOT TOO MUCH CHIPS (388 words)

I so like Chips and Curry Sauce. Getting them from the local Takeaway is always the best option, but what happens when they are shut? I know, they should be open all the time (pretty much!). I tend to grab some of these every now and again in Asda. They are £1 each or part of the Asda 5 meals for £4 range. The Chips and Curry Sauce is in a black plastic tray, and you cook it in the tray. Although you can oven cook this, it seems a bit fussy to have your oven on just for this. ...  Read the complete review

As usual I am always on the lookout that will make my life marginally easier, whether it be a cleaning product that cleans all surfaces with one bottle through to ready meals that can be nucked and on the plate within 10 minutes. I know there are many of you that will turn your nose up at such offerings but in my experience they are godsends. Yes, of course a home cooked meal from scratch is preferable to microwave meals but as I have a job, a house, 2 kids, one husband and various after school clubs to contend with, I feel managing to actually get the meals into the microwave and pressing start some days is a struggle! This being the case I turned ...  Read the complete review
