Asda chocolate chip digestives are one of my favourite biscuits. They are the first of this kind I have seen and I was pleasantly suprised. The biscuits are of course available from Asda and they cost 77p for 300g. They come in a purple packet which shows an image of the biscuits on the front. They are suitable for vegetarians. The biscuit itself is quite large for a biscuit and is about 2 inches wide. There are a good amount of chocolate chips in the biscuit (11%). Along with everyone else at this present time I am on the lookout for a bargain, whether that be a piece of electrical goods at a knockdown price or my normal branded food item reduced to clear. These days I do tend to gravitate towards the "cheaper" branded food items, as Asda is the supermarket of choice this brand is normally smart price. After being reasonably impressed with moat of the items in this range I decided to try the biscuits out, now most of them are quite nice but after trying the chocolate chip cookies and being disappointed I knew I would have to spend a little more to get a biscuit we would enjoy eating.
