Advantages: Taste, Price

Disadvantages: None

Asda chocolate chip digestives are one of my favourite biscuits. They are the first of this kind I have seen and I was pleasantly suprised. The biscuits are of course available from Asda and they cost 77p for 300g. They come in a purple packet which shows an image of the biscuits on the front. They are suitable for vegetarians.

The biscuit itself is quite large for a biscuit and is about 2 inches wide. There are a good amount of chocolate chips in the biscuit (11%). The biscuits are slightly lighter in colour than I would say your average digestive is and they taste quite different. The biscuit is of good quality, tastes creamy and is quite crumbly. The chocolate chips are again creamy, are made of thick chocolate and melt in the mouth.

In each biscuit there are 69 calories, 3.3g of fat (1.6g that saturates) and 0.6g of salt. If you are on the weight watchers plan they have a points value of 1.5 each.

I really enjoy these biscuits, as do all of my family. They are very moreish and easy to eat and have both a lovely flavour and texture. I would recommend these biscuits to anyone who has a sweet tooth. The packet is of a good size and can easily satisfy a whole family for a week. At 77p I think they are a bargain and I always put a packet in my trolley.

Summary: Lovely Biscuit
