I have been buying store brand cereals for months now in a bid to save a few pounds on the shopping bill. I have been disappointed by various cheap imitations of the Kellogg's classics but I have to admit I have no complaints about Asdas Choco Squares. Neither do my children, and they are the fiercest critics of all when it comes to chocolate flavoured breakfast cereals. ~~~~~~~~ Packaging ~~~~~~~~ Asda Choco Squares used to come packaged in the purple box as illustrated on the Dooyoo site, but this has recently changed. The new box is still easy to identify in the kids section of the cereal aisle as the basic looking packaging is bright ... Read the complete review

The tasty chocolaty way to start your day! Asda's own brand Choco Squares are packed full of vitamins and minerals, and are a great way to kick start your day. Unlike the bland and rather flavourless Muesli cereals, the Choco Squares taste great, and are full of the goodness you need. - Packaging - The box is like any old cereal box, but its design on the front catches your eye, with the big bowl full of chocolate squares and a little chocolaty alien character in the bottom corner in a puddle of chocolate, with space ships and planets in the background. So the box is definitely aimed at kids. - Price - The price is £1.29 for ... Read the complete review

As any one who is familiar with my reviews will know, my children love cereals, the sweeter the better! So when faced with the product I will now review, they just had to try it! The product I will now review is "Asda choc squares". The packaging is bright and vibrant, the box is purple in colour with a large oval patch of yellow in the centre. On top of the yellow is the brand and product name in the same purple as the rest of the box, very effective! For some strange reason there is a picture of a "mad dog" peering over the lettering?! Around the lettering there are pieces of the cereal flying about, some of which are ... Read the complete review

I get bored of the same old cereals and although my main breakfast time cereals are the old faithfuls like Weetabix and Shredded Wheat, I do like a nice sweet cereal for supper. I think I have worked my way through most of the Asda range and these have to be my absolute favourite! They cost £1.40 for a 375g box although they are doing an offer at the moment which is 2 boxes for £2. The actual cereal is made up of oats and wheat and they are shaped into little squares which are quite thick. They remind me of little pillows. They are a light brown in colour and they have a surprise element to them in that, when you bite into them, out spills a small serving of ... Read the complete review

Product: Asda Choco Squares Cereal Taste: 4/5 Really chocolatey but the odd square is a bit plain Packaging: 3/5 Average for a cereal. Carboard box with inner plastic bag Price: 4/5 Can only be purchase in Asda but not expensive and is regularly on special offer Serving suggestion: with milk for breakfast Overall rating: 4/5 This product is designed to be a kids cereal, but as I don't have any and don't think I'd feed it to them if I did. The cereal consists of small crispy squares with chocolate centres. I have to admit, I absolutely love them and considering they are filled with chocolate, the nutritional content is no worse ...
