They're more covered in like a dusty but solidish cocoa powder and that's a bit of a stupid idea because as soon as the milk goes on the chocolate all comes off the flakes and you're left with cheap tasting cornflakes and brown milk. These don't make the milk taste like chocolate, it just goes brown and dirty looking. The chocolate isn't a very nice flavour anyway because it is loads too sweet and that makes it taste too artificial. My sister is 10 and she gets to choose one box of cereal a week because we all eat plain breakfasts and she prefers something sweet and chocolatey. Choco Flakes are made by Asda and when we brought these we got 2 boxes for £2.00 and that's a good saving because they are normally about £1.50 a box. I thought they were going to be chocolate covered cornflakes but they're not that good even though the first few mouth fulls out of each bowl is quite nice. I bought these a little while a go because I fancied a sweet treat of an evening and thought it might be healthier to tuck into these rather than chocolate. They were on offer at the time for two boxes of 500g for £2 which I thought was reasonable. Now theres always a bit of a risk when buying anything that is cornflake based because it seems that most Supermarkets cannot match Kelloggs when it comes to the quality and standard. On opening the box I got a subtle whiff of chocolate mixed with the corn. I was a little surprised when I pulled out a handful because I was expecting them to be coated thickly in chocolate.
