Advantages: It is cheap, tasty and good for you.

Disadvantages: There isn't any.

These Choco Hoops are Asdas own band ones and they are delicious. You can buy them at most Asda stores they are priced at £1.38 for a 375g box. Or there is normally a deal on where you can buy two boxes for £2.00 the deal is also avaialbe on some of the other Asda cereal so you can mix what you buy.

The other Asda own brand cereals that are similar to the Choco Hoops and are included in the two boxes for £2.00 are: Multigrain hoops, choco snaps, golden balls and choco flakes. I have tried the choco snaps and the choco flakes but I personally prefer the choco hoops. As the chocolate flavour is stronger and with the other chocolates ones I find that when you add milk the flavour just disappears into the milk rather then staying on the cereal.

The box packaging is very bright with a picture of a bird character climbing out of one of the hoops on the cover. The box is a nice bright blue colour and is nice and cheerful . The cereal has added vitamins and iron and there are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives so is ideal for you and your child. The cereal is suitable for vegetarians but does have gluten and wheat in so there not for you if you're allergic to them.

The cereal contains lots of fibre which is good for your digestive system. The cereal itself is shaped like small hoops and is basically wheat covered with chocolate similar to the well known brand weetoes but. When you bite in to them they are nice and crunchy and the chocolate on them tastes great. You can have them with milk or without. One of my daughters likes hers with milk the other doesn't. If you have it with milk then the milk turns a nice chocolate colour and has a chocolate flavour to it. To store the cereal you need to keep it in a dry and cool place so ideal for the cupboard.

We first tried these a little while ago as my daughters are big fans of chocolate cereals. So with four people in our house it doesn't take us long to get through a box of cereal. We used to buy things like weetoes, coco pops etc and we found them so expensive and they didn't last long. So we thought we would try Asdas own brand I expected them to not taste that nice as I thought the chocolate wouldn't be nice but I would actually say there just as nice as well known branded ones. So now when we go shopping we stock up on these we have also brought the Golden balls ones this time to try out so hopefully they are just as nice.

Summary: Overall a great cereal.
