 ... of the nicest, sweetest muffins I have ever tasted and if I was looking to buy some muffins again I would come straight back to Asda. However there is one thing that puts me off them, and that is the terrifying nutritional values. 100 grams contains 419 calories, 21.1 grams of fat and 31.4 grams of sugar. Still, this isn't much of a surprise and I'm sure most muffins have similar values. These really are yummy and I highly recommend them if you have a sweet tooth....more

Lately I have been buying less cakes because I am trying to lose a bit of weight. However when I needed supplies for a picnic last weekend, I couldn't resist buying a pack of muffins from Asda. These muffins come in a clear plastic tray and there are four in each package. They cost £1.59 and are only available from Asda, though of course each supermarket will have its own version. They are described as 'Sweet vanilla flavoured muffins packed with smooth chocolate chunks.' The muffins are quite large and they have risen nicely on the top so that they aren't all squashed down and squidgy the way that some muffins are.
