Cough Candies are one of those sweets that bring memories of my childhood flooding back to me. Firstly because are one of my Dads favourite sweets so they were always around when I was little (doh no wonder I had so many trips to the dentist) and because since they aren't a well known sweet I haven't had anything else to associate them with! At work I find the day goes that bit quicker and that bit smoother if there is a nice selection of "suck" available to me. Now please before I get any smutty comments about my personal life or the fact that after reading that statement I may sound like a worker that may get more fag breaks than most (think about it!), let me elaborate. My place of work deems that there is no access to drinks and food, I work in a sterile unit that cleans and sterilises instruments for operations, so this being the case you do get quite dry throated at times.
