I was instantly a bit put off by this overly light colour because it didn't look very natural, and it didn't look a whole lot like I expect cocoa powder to look either! Asda Cocoa is possibly the strangest looking cocoa powder I have ever come across! It's very reasonably priced at £1.48 for a 250g pot. That's compared to £2.31 for a 250g pot of brand name Cadbury Bourneville cocoa. I'd not used this previously as I tend not to shop in Asda as a general rule. Not because I've got anything against Asda, just because it isn't convenient to do so. But on this occasion I was in Asda and knew we needed another tub of cocoa - so naturally I went for the cheaper option due to the large price difference.
